To the Hive staff, thanks very much for all the assistance and goodwill that I have been given over the last 18 months. I hope the organisation continues to make a difference to people long into the future!

Lance Chase, Hive volunteer

Alyson, Yet again another big thank you to you and all of your colleagues at the Hive - the artists, performers and friends who worked so well with our young people. Once again, the talents of our youngsters was developed and polished by your team. The confidence our young people get from their interactions and performance during the work is highly significant for them and the performance on Friday was a wonderful night! Thank you for what you do with and for our young people!

Jeff Potts, Head of LAC education and health team

I just watched the Steve Knightley folk concert online, thank you so much for this! It was so enjoyable I had to say something straight away. The live streaming meant we could enjoy a performance that we otherwise would have missed. I hope more events from the Hive will be streamed, it's fantastic!

Karen Edwards, Congresbury near Weston-super-Mare

Hello everyone at the Hive! I just wanted to say thank you very much for supporting our Escape night, we look forward to seeing you again in November!

Thank you so much for your invitation to the Hive's street party and for all the hard work that went in to the event - and the extra work that then had to be done to accommodate BBC Midlands Today! It was a great opportunity to be part of the Shrewsbury community and thank you again for making it happen!

Abigail Uden, BBC Midlands Today team

I would like to say how fantastic I thought the Hive B:Involved workshop was. The difference made to our young people's confidence was clearly evident. The girls who were quiet blossomed in their confidence and it was absolutely amazing, we have never laughed so much. Thank-you!

Barbara Shaw, Drama Assistant

The Hive really has something to offer all young people in Shrewsbury and Shropshire... They have great facilities and plenty of courses, not to mention endless performances from the world of music and arts...

Stephen Lane, Shrewsbury

The Bespoke Creations class was really well organized, with sewing machines, boxes of fabrics, trimmings, beads galore. With friendly staff and workshop participants, it was a great excuse for me to spend 3 hours in one afternoon sewing and crafting. Thanks to the Hive for a great day!

An early firm favourite, although we never managed to go as regularly as I would have liked, is Music Time at The Hive. Billed as “a lively hour of musical fun with lots of things to shake, rattle and bang”, Music Time is on Fridays at 10.30am. Acclaimed local musician Mary Keith runs the sessions, accompanied by Giuletti the accordian, with a plethora of instruments, sensory materials, songs and bags of imagination!

Sarah Kennedy, Marketing Consultant, Shropshire

I would like to say thank you to everyone for all the opportunities and support you've given me over the last year. I've really enjoyed everything I've done here and all that I've done has helped me realise what I want to do with my future. I praise you all for helping me to get my motivation to go out and do something with my life!

Kirsty Lea, Young person and Hive volunteer

A great evening, with a whole new insight into another way of working - fantastic, really engaging speakers!

Attendee of Music Photography Lectures

I hope to stay in touch with the Hive, they have given me an insight into working life which I cannot thank them enough for. They're not just a group of workers, they are practically a family - each with their own specific roles which adds to making the Hive an all round success.
